Learning at your own pace

Alan is big and a little clumsy, but also thoughtful and smart. He pauses to puzzle things out and uses his critical thinking to solve problems.

Hi friends, Alan here. I might be a little clumsy, but I’m thoughtful too. We all have different strengths, and we all learn in our own ways.

Some people pick things up quickly, like riding a bike or solving a puzzle. Others need more time, and that is perfectly okay. Taking longer can mean you’re really understanding it deeply.

If something takes longer for you, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. It just means your path looks a little different. And that is what makes each of us special.

Be patient with yourself. Celebrate your progress, even the small steps. And cheer for others too, because we’re all learning in our own way.

With thoughtfulness,

Alan
