Dear Amanda…
We got a letter from Amanda!
It says: “Dear Piggies… Thank you for creating a safe space for those that need one!”
Thank you, Amanda, for your kind words. It means so much to know that our little corner of the world can bring comfort and care to those who need it.
With love and squeaks,
The Rainbow Piggies

Speaking Up
Hello friends, I’m Alex, it’s true. Respect means speaking with care in what you do. When you see someone treated in a way that’s not fair, use your kind voice to show that you care.
You can say clearly, “That’s not okay,” or ask a trusted friend to help right away. Use gentle words, but make them strong. Your voice can help to fix what’s wrong.
Respect is a gift you give and you get. The more we share it, the better it’s set. When you speak up, you show what’s right. Making the world safer, kinder, and bright!
With respect,
Alex
Alex is calm and careful with words. She takes her time, sometimes even speaking in rhyme, and shows respect by treating everyone with value.

Asking for Help
Hi pals, Rosie here! Life can be a little tricky, and even guinea pigs need a helping hoof. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak—it makes you squeak smart!
Here are some ways you can do it:
• Ask a friend or grown-up, “Can you lend me a paw?”
• Say clearly, “I need help with this, please.”
• Remember, helpers feel happy when you trust them.
Understanding yourself means knowing when it’s time to ask. And that’s nothing to hide—it’s something to bristle with pride about!
With understanding,
Rosie
Rosie is goofy and full of puns. She brings lightness to every situation and shows her understanding by making sure friends feel seen and included.

Different is awesome!
Hey sugar, it’s Gladys here. Let’s get real. We all look different. Some of us are tall, some short, some have freckles, stripes, spots, curls, or no hair at all. And that’s not just okay—it’s fabulous!
If we all looked the same, life would be boring. Our differences are what make us sparkle. They tell our stories and show the world who we are.
So the next time you look in the mirror, smile at what makes you unique. And when you see someone who looks different from you, celebrate them too. Because different isn’t just good—it’s AWESOME!
With joy,
Gladys
Gladys is sassy, funny, and full of joy. She loves herself just the way she is and reminds everyone to celebrate what makes them unique.

Learning at your own pace
Hi friends, Alan here. I might be a little clumsy, but I’m thoughtful too. We all have different strengths, and we all learn in our own ways.
Some people pick things up quickly, like riding a bike or solving a puzzle. Others need more time, and that is perfectly okay. Taking longer can mean you’re really understanding it deeply.
If something takes longer for you, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. It just means your path looks a little different. And that is what makes each of us special.
Be patient with yourself. Celebrate your progress, even the small steps. And cheer for others too, because we’re all learning in our own way.
With thoughtfulness,
Alan
Alan is big and a little clumsy, but also thoughtful and smart. He pauses to puzzle things out and uses his critical thinking to solve problems.

What to do if you’re being bullied
HEY EVERYONE! It’s me, Marsha. Bullying is awful, but you are NEVER alone. And it is NEVER your fault.
Here’s what you can do:
• Tell someone you trust
• Walk away if you can
• Remember you are amazing and loved
• Stick together and support friends
Bullies want you to feel small, but let me tell you—you are BIG, BRIGHT, and LOVED. I’m cheering for you with my whole heart. That’s what bravery is all about.
With bravery,
Marsha
Marsha is bold and proud. She stands tall, speaks up, and shows her bravery by protecting friends and standing against unfairness.

What is a safe space?
Hello friends, it’s Gilbert here. I’m a little shy, but I know care makes a big difference. A safe space is a place where people feel welcome, respected, and free to be themselves.
In a safe space, kindness is always present and judgment has no place. No one has to hide who they are.
We can all help create safe spaces. Care shows up when we listen with patience, use gentle words, support our friends, and learn from one another. Small acts of care make the world softer and kinder.
With care,
Gilbert
Gilbert is shy and gentle. He notices when someone needs comfort, and his caring heart makes everyone feel safe and welcome.
